Material and Methods
Identification of carbon nanotubes (CNT) was based on comparison with a positive control sample provided by A. Shvedova from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and on the images and descriptions found in two publications (Lam et al. 2006; Poland et al. 2008). Seven DS collected at different sites of the WTC (generously provided by R. Nolan, Environmental Sciences, City University of New York) were also observed by analytic electron microscopy for the presence of structures, particularly CNT.

Patient A. Pathologic summary: UIP-like (UIP, usual interstitial pneumonitis), HP-like (HP, hypersensitivity pneumonia). Mineralogic and asbestos fiber burden analysis: silicates (AS, aluminum silicate; MS, magnesium silicate) 165,600/g and CNT 110,400/g.

Patient B. Pathologic summary: UIP-like, NSIP-like (NSIP, nonspecific interstitial pneumonitis). Mineralogic and asbestos fiber burden analysis: AS and MS: 165,600/g; CNT: 3,450/g, and no asbestos fibers.

Patient C. Pathologic summary: NSIP-like (cellular > fibrosing). Mineralogic and asbestos fiber burden analysis: CA (CA, chrysotile asbestos): 36,800/g; AS and MS: 184,000/g; CNT: 230,000/g.

Patient D. Pathologic summary: Mild chronic bronchiolitis; occasional peribronchiolar and submucosal fibrosis. Mineralogic and asbestos fiber burden analysis: CA: 5,520/g; AS and MS: 27,600/g; S (CS, calcium sulfate): large amount; CNT: 11,040/g.

Electron microscopy mineralogic findings. Four of the seven WTC dust samples contained CNT. The lung specimens of three of the patients with interstitial disease (Patients A, B, and C) contained CNT (Figure 3A) virtually identical to those of the dust samples (Figure 3B) and of the positive control sample (Figure 3C). CNT seen were all single-walled and of various lengths. They were mostly ropelike under electron microscopy... The nanotubes identified in patient lung samples appear mostly in single or pairs. Most CNT seen in the CNT-positive control and WTC dust samples were stacks of single nanotubes, thus appearing to be variable in thickness. No CNT were found in the lungs of either the 40 construction workers (not exposed to the WTC dust *) or the 20 negative control samples.

The lungs of these (9/11 WTC) patients contained large amounts of silicates, and three of them showed nanotubes.

* Additional data on those 40 construction workers used as controls: As a comparison, we reexamined for the presence of CNT in 40 samples taken from unrelated workers from diverse construction trades suspected for asbestos-related disease. These patients were known to have been exposed to asbestos, and most of these 40 patients had a high lung burden of asbestos fibers. Less than 10%, however, had platy aluminum and magnesium silicates similar to those seen in WTC patients. Furthermore when they were seen in the control samples, they were present in small quantities (< 1,000/g wet weight of lung).

Discussion
In this case report, we describe seven previously healthy WTC responders who developed lung disease after sustaining heavy first- and second-day exposures to WTC dust and debris. We summarize our findings as follows:

a) CNT were found in some WTC-exposed patients with persistent lung disease with confirmation by positive controls and in the WTC dust. This finding was present in responders with extensive interstitial/parenchymal abnormalities (three of four patients) and in one of two patients with small airway disease, but not in the patient with nonnecrotizing granulomas.**

b) We found a higher amount of aluminum silicate and magnesium silicate in all four patients with diffuse interstitial/parenchymal abnormalities compared with those with small airway disease and granuloma. Chrysotile asbestos fibers were also found in four of seven patients in quantities modestly higher than background levels of asbestos in the New York City population. In interpreting these findings, however, it should be noted that mineralogic analysis of the lungs can be biased because of sampling variability within the lung itself.

Electron microscopic mineralogic analysis revealed CNT in WTC responders with extensive interstitial/parenchymal abnormalities (three of four patients) and in one of two patients with small airway disease, but not in the patient with nonnecrotizing granulomas. **

** However, CNT were not found in Patient G who had granulomas, perhaps because of inadequate sampling of the tissue.

Nanomaterials such as CNT have many potential applications in electronics, computer, and aerospace industries because of their desirable electrical, mechanical, and thermal properties (Lam et al. 2004). CNT are hydrophobic carbon cylinders with a diameter of a few to 200 nm and variable length depending on their degree of aggregation (Florito et al. 2006; Li et al. 2007; Mercer et al. 2008; Murr et al. 2005; Shvedova et al. 2008a; Tian et al. 2006). There are single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT), consisting of one such cylinder, and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT), composed of cylinders concentrically stacked and in the form of ropes with a common long axis. They can either be commercially synthesized or can develop spontaneously over flames and high temperatures in the presence of carbon and a metal catalyst.

CNT of commercial origin, common now, would not have been present in substantial numbers in the WTC complex before the disaster in 2001. However, the high temperatures generated during the WTC disaster as a result of the combustion of fuel in the presence of carbon and metals would have been sufficient to locally generate large numbers of CNT. This scenario could have caused the generation of CNT that we have noted in the dust samples and in the lung biopsy specimens ****.

**** Really? How high needs to be the temperature for the generation of CNT? And is "fuel" really capable to reach those temperatures?

[Experimental studies, both in vitro and in animals, show the potential toxicity of some types of CNT (Florito et al. 2006; Li et al. 2007; Mercer et al. 2008; Murr et al. 2005; Shvedova et al. 2008a, 2008b; Tian et al. 2006). They are believed to be proinflammatory, fibrosing, and capable of inducing granulomas when inhaled in mouse models (Mercer et al. 2008). Shvedova et al. (2008b) observed that inhalation of SWCNT resulted in a 4-fold increase in fibrosis, along with collagen deposition, in the peribronchial and interstitial areas in the lungs of mice when compared with exposure by aspiration of SWCNT. CNT introduced into the abdominal cavity of mice can cause asbestos-like pathogenicity (Poland et al. 2008). Very recently, the Berkeley group has shown that oxidative stress can be induced by zero-valent iron (Fe) nanoparticles and Fe(II) in human bronchial epithelial cells (Keenan el al. 2009), which may contribute to the chain reaction of oxidative damages.]

[There is evidence that CNT may contribute to granuloma formation, although this may depend on the type of CNT present. In a study by Lam et al. (2004), granuloma formation and interstitial inflammation was observed in four of nine mice who were administered a high dose (0.5 mg) of CNT compared with mice administered a low dose (0.1 mg) of CNT. Similar findings were also observed in a study conducted by Muller et al. (2005), where granulomas, completely or partially blocking the bronchial lumen, were observed in the bronchi of rats 60 days after intratracheal instillation of MWCNT. Additionally, ground MWCNT, administered to rats via intratracheal instillation, were better dispersed in the parenchyma and also produced granulomas in the interstitial tissue (Muller et al. 2005). Shvedova et al. (2005) showed that epitheloid granulomas, which were rapid, progressive, and dose dependent, were observed at sites where SWCNT aggregates were deposited after pharyngeal aspiration of SWCNT in mice. Furthermore, diffuse interstitial fibrosis with alveolar thickening was also observed in areas distant from the site where SWCNT aggregates were deposited (Shvedova et al. 2005). In most of these studies, carbon black particles used as reference particles did not produce any granulomas (Lam et al. 2004; Muller et al. 2005; Shvedova et al. 2005).]

Mediastinal granulomas were described in prior studies by other WTC-exposed individuals (Izbicki et al. 2007).

The etiology of the conditions described in WTC responders cannot be fully elucidated, because our analysis does not include toxic soluble gases. In this case report we identified the presence of unexpected CNT, silicates, and other elements, but it remains unclear whether any of these compounds may have caused the lung pathology. The combination of compounds may have increased the likelihood that individuals would develop pulmonary impairment. Further surveillance of individuals with these exposures should provide us with additional answers.

The finding of carbon nanotubes in four of seven WTC patients in concentrations ranging from 3,450/g to 230,000/g of wet weight and in four of seven dust samples collected from the WTC site, although unique and important, cannot be construed as evidence for WTC exposure. Likewise, their absence should not be used as evidence of lack of exposure. A retrospective check of specimens in unrelated asbestos cases evaluated over the past 20 years was negative for CNT. Recently, however, small numbers of CNT have been identified in control specimens from the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) at minimal concentrations (Gordon R, unpublished data). These might originate in the combustion engines of automobiles (Lam et al. 2006).

Conclusion
The predominant finding of interstitial lung disease on pathology and presence of similar materials in most of the mineralogic samples including CNT and platy silicates suggests that WTC exposure may have contributed to the development of lung disease.

Less understood, and requiring further study, are unusual illnesses of the immune system commonly observed in the WTC first responders. These include various types of interstitial lung disease, such as eosinophilic pneumonia, granulomatous pneumonitis, and bronchial obliterans [“bronchiolitis obliterans”, according to Jeff King]. Environmental triggers for these illnesses include aluminum silicates, which have been found in the lungs of WTC first responders at high levels in “unusual platy configurations.” [2]

Carbon nanotubes
In 2010, researchers reported the presence of carbon nanotubes in the lungs of WTC first responders.[15] Carbon nanotubes are high-tech nanostructured materials, which exhibit unique properties like ballistic conduction. The health effects of carbon nanotubes have been shown to be similar to the health effects produced by exposure to asbestos.[16]
Carbon nanotube formation requires three basic components: a source of carbon, a source of heat, and the presence of certain metals. In particular, formation of the single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) found in the lungs of first responders requires that the metals be present.[17] All of these requirements were met at the WTC site on, and for months after, September 11, 2001.
The three most effective metals for the synthesis of SWCNTs are iron, nickel and cobalt. Both iron and nickel were present in high concentrations near Ground Zero, as shown by aerosol testing done by a team from the University of California, Davis.[18] Iron oxide and nickel oxide are common oxidants in thermite mixtures.
Airborne carbon compounds were certainly present in abundance at Ground Zero in the form of particulate matter resulting from the fires. Heat was also in abundance, as extremely high temperatures were present on 9/11 and afterward at Ground Zero. These temperatures were at least 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, hotter than first reported by government scientists, and were far higher than temperatures seen in a normal structure fire.
The molten metal and vaporized silicates that have been reported in the WTC dust can only be explained by the presence of an exothermic reaction like the thermite reaction.[19] Large quantities of carbon nanotubes might have been formed at Ground Zero due to the high temperature environments created by the thermite reaction and the airborne metal catalysts that were also present.
A second possible explanation for the carbon nanotubes in the lung tissue of the first responders is that the carbon nanotubes were components of actual energetic materials that were used in the destruction of the buildings. Carbon nanotubes have been used as energetic modifiers,[20] to improve stabilization of explosives,[21] and to enhance ignition properties.[22]

Conclusion
... The finding of carbon nanotubes in the lungs of first responders suggests two possible explanations. The nanotubes might have been formed in the unusual environment at Ground Zero, where extremely high temperatures and the presence of airborne metallic species gives yet more evidence for the presence of thermitic materials. Alternatively, the nanotubes might have been components of energetic materials. In either case, the presence of carbon nanotubes in the lungs of WTC first responders suggests the use of energetic materials and should be studied in more depth. These facts and research findings warrant further study of the correlation between environmental testing results, first responder health study results, and the use of energetic materials at the WTC.

Excellent article. The known substances who were in the air give the range of diseases mentioned. There is still a range of energetic substances not looked for: the radioactive ones. The collected dust in the hands of dr. Steven Jones could also be analyzed on radioactive isotopes. This could explain some found illnesses like fast cancer developement.. For isotope analysis one need a special instrument, the Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometer. Radioactive isotopes could be emitted by the possible underground nuclear explosions that destroyed the inner core of Builings WTC 1, 2 and 7

However, the Israeli version and BBC lack of the three cloaked aircraft presented in History Channel.] Next, links to 2 MPEG videos taken from the History Channel documentary: the three cloaked vehicles attempt to camouflage (check very carefully that while the light refraction moves through the curved surface of the helicopter window, those three vehicles continue there moving slightly closer and farther from each other. Those vehicles attempted to master their hiding deceptions but failed. The astonished voices of Hayes and Walsh can be heard while they look at the WTC south tower falling by the perverse controlled demolition of black operation 911.

Here we see a falling man while the three cloaked aircraft (presented above) camouflage themselves as "clouds", an additional cloaked device can be seen in the second line. On 911, the most advanced technology of the U.S. was busy in the Black Operation directed by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and collaborators. Busy in the killing of American lives, not saving them, in the pursuit of their own particular political agenda (their perverse PNAC). The color sequence taken from PBS - American Experience, the black and white sequence, from the same filmmaker (Evan Fairbanks) can be downloaded in MPEG here, as the rest of the MPEG film presented here. Here, how a fragment of it was presented at ABC - ESPN (when Peter Jennings was still alive.)

Here, another device used on 911 by Cofer Black, Cambone and their leaders Cheney, Rumsfeld and Bush, etc... that advanced and harmful device can be seen in the first frame at the left side, in the next frame approaching the just damaged North Tower of the WTC (here its MPEG, from the film of the Naudet brothers as presented in PBS, The American Experience, "New York Center of the World, Episode 8," the only place in which the end has not been edited out or altered by the Naudets and by Hanlon et al (all those nasty secretive CIA "assets"), where you can see, at the end, a morphing holo-birdet), then the same dangerous device, moving forward could be seen in the 2006 Discovery Channel novel or enactment: "Inside the Twin Towers", which included original footage. Then, in the amateur film released on 2006 by Bob and Bri it was possible to see again the same destructive and advanced technological device, in a burning red color, that for lack of a better terminology and knowledge of the "secret" perversions of Bush et al, we will call the thermator, a loaded device used to promote the fire, the smoke and the final collapse.

Multiple advanced aerial devices were present controlling and "shepherding" the fall of the WTC towers, as well as the initial damage imposed on them. Similar vehicles were seen on the frauds performed by Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney and their felon partners at the Pentagon and at Shanksville.

In this collage of the "Park Foreman" sequence, as presented multiple times on CNN, we can see first a cloaked device hiding near the bottom of the smoke; then we see the holo-plane fading and slightly changing shape (with another cloaked device behind it, as seen in shot # 6). After the impact, shots 8 & 9 show another cloaked aircraft at the right side, then an additional one appears through the smoke, at the top of the buildings and finally, we can see the cloaked aircraft that was there from the beginning near the bottom of the smoke, a sequence of it was also seen while Tommy Thompson was speaking, plus a pair of birdets crossing from left to right in line with the smoke presented in the last shot (the central part of this footage can be seen also in the PBS' American Experience documentary on New York, Center of the World, Episode 8, in the National Geographic's documentary Zero Hour from "Inside 9/11", in the HBO documentary In Memoriam...) This first part of the Foreman video can be seen in the CNN documentary America Remembers (intermittent within minutes 7:22 to 8:23). Above, close-ups and their corresponding frame have been set side by side to more easily identify the cloaked devices surrounding the "plane". MPEGs of this CNN start (one), and example two. The next detailed analysis demonstrates the fake nature of the "Park Foreman" holographic plane, notice in the previous linked picture, that in frames 2 and 3 the port wing appears to be in front of the foreground scaffold, while in frames 4 and 5 the port wing appears to be behind the foreground scaffold. Even in the earlier still frames aired from the Foreman video initially presented at CNN by Aaron Brown you can see the white advanced camouflaged aircraft and the missile nose protruding out of the tower.

Another camera was able to capture the white jet (the same one presented in the penultimate sequence from here (visible there in frames 8 and 9), in this second video the white plane appears for very few frames, hence the importance to do a careful analysis of each frame showing the 911 skies. In the same CNN documentary America Remembers after they present the fall of the WTC7, we can clearly see at least three cloaked vehicles (from 35:47 to 49), one of them is presented above, with close-ups and the actual full frame from which they were taken. Next the MPEG video of this sequence, as many of the cloaked vehicles recorded, the video of these three ones can be seen only for three seconds. We deeply recommend to use a slow-motion software and enlarging software like the free ones suggested by thewebfairy. Stealth vehicles also captured by a photographer.

The lame government of George W. Bush, secluded to his ranch until 911, looked to have a popular boost with 911. He was meeting his PNAC brother Jeb Bush at Florida since the day before that their black program of 911 was executed. Marvin Bush, his other brother was involved with the "security" of the WTC, United Airlines, and Dulles International Airport through the company Securacom, now Stratesec...

In this additional view, presented also by CNN in multiple occasions, we can see how the missile covered by the holo-plane hits the tower, and immediately after that, a cloaked vehicle can be seen departing from the scene, at the top right (the bottom part of this footage can also be seen in the PBS' American Experience documentary on New York, Center of the World, Episode 8). In this sequence we can see a cloaked aircraft at the top left, near the logo as appeared at the beginning of the 2005 documentary End Game, one of the four episodes of Inside 9/11 by National Geographic. To see the MPEG 1 video, click here.

Here the Naudets filmed a near-invisible vehicle with a similar complexion than the one before, this time departing from the tower in a similar way than the one above captured by NOVA. Here its MPEG.

In this sequence from the same End Game we can see a stealth vehicle de-cloaking itself and attacking the tower by planting explosives on a previously marked section (thermate et al) on the surface of the WTC towers and then re-cloaking itself. This is the second part of the sequence of the white jet that appeared just seconds before the impact of the second WTC tower (the south tower) as presented in Zero Hour by National Geographic (with zoom-in side-by-side for comparison purposes). Also in that page you can see the testimony of this third jet by Will Jimeno, a NY Port Authority official immortalized by Oliver Stone's movie World Trade Center. This is precisely the third jet presented in the PDF paper The Flying Elephant: Evidence for Involvement of a Third Jet in the WTC Attacks paper almost costing the life of the original writer who was threatened, and his family by a covert "intelligence" operative (the evil assets or operatives of Mr. criminal Bush and his collaborators). Both the previous and the next footage were taken by Brian Gately, Systems Manager, from a 6th floor in Crown Heights.

In this sequence of the second hit captured by the same camera of the previous one, you can see a white orb flying low, with detail (multiple cameras filmed similar vehicles flying very low on 911). Here is the MPEG of this cloaked orb moving just after the second hit.

These images present an orb moving from right to left and an helicopter moving from left to right. Below you can see its details.

The smaller orb can be seen causing the ejection of smoke from the tower, then changing form and color. The helicopter can also be seen camouflaging itself once out of the smoke. Birdets were seen crossing from right to left and another advanced aircraft was seen flying a higher altitude in the last line. Then the helicopter went back (flying in circles around the WTC.) The sequence presented here, again from the same video presented at the beginning, shows the white orb visible at the moment of the "second hit" of the World Trade Center. The fact that its a third dimensional aerial object can be confirmed by its clear entrance to the two buildings (also shown in detail in lines one and four), the fact that this orb continued moving, even while the crash occurred and after that, indicates that the "plane" was an holographic projection hiding or covering a loaded missile.

This collage seems to confirm that flashing orbs where surrounding the whole WTC until Bush's Black Operation 911 was fully completed. Two of them can be seen here, moving from top to bottom, their exit point can be seen in the last line; from the recently released personal video "September 11, 2001: What We Saw" by Bob and Bri, filmed from Tribeca Pointe, NY. This one shows the presence of at least two very advanced aircraft flying at each side of the WTC moments after their second aerial attack. One is dark at the bottom of the smoke while the other is "a morphing white." Here you can see the MPEG. To see many other excerpts of the film of Bob and Bri, click here. Specially notable are the excerpts of multiple stealth very advanced vehicles flying while the last of the twin towers is falling. Those flashing orbs were also visible when the falling started. It seems that some of those advanced CIA-Pentagon vehicles were responsible for the "injecting" of the thermate to bring down the towers at the full speed of the laws of gravity. This long sequence of a morphing stealth captured and aired by CNN after the fall of the two WTC towers, as the previous ones and as the ones presented elsewhere (1 and 2,) etc... are showing the closest view of a very advanced and secretive aircraft used by Bush to kill his own fellow Americans on 9/11, in the pursuit of his crooked agenda and Cheney's, Rumsfeld's and the rest of the PNAC members' perverse philosophies of domination and of war. Rumsfeld and Cheney were as well obsessed with a new Pearl Harbor, as can be read in their crooked PNAC, and for Rumsfeld in the book of "Bush At War" by Woodward, were we read: "In his first eight months back in the Pentagon, Rumsfeld struck two major themes. First, the military was hidebound and outdated... Rumsfeld’s second theme was surprise. He routinely handed out or recommended a book called Pearl Harbor: Warning and Decision by Roberta Wohlstetter. Rumsfeld particularly recommended the foreword, written by Thomas Schelling... Rumsfeld’s transformation plans met with something just short of organized resistance bordering on insubordination among a significant part of the senior uniformed officers. One four-star officer who worked with him said Rumsfeld was “an egomaniac cleverly disguised... a hip shooter who gives the impression he is not.” Another said if anyone disagreed with Rumsfeld it was risky because the result might be an “ass chewing from him...”." In the same book, there are the statements of darker individuals involved with the Black Operation 911 and with related issues, like in figure 23, of CIA's Cofer Black, where we read:

Cofer Black, the head of the CIA's Counterterrorism Center, told the president in a briefing on proposed covert operations, "You've got to understand, people are going to die." [The text in the book expands his statement as follows: "And the worst part about it, Mr. President, Americans are going to die — my colleagues and my friends." Somebody declared: "There is a situation where the head of the CIA’s counterterrorism center, Cofer Black, feels the need to remind the President about some desired covert operations: “You’ve got to understand, people are going to die.” It is left unsaid whether the comment came from something flippant said at the time, or whether this admonition was necessary in the previous administration." Now Joseph Cofer Black is "ambassador at large (2002-present)."]

Next, the other darker character that Woodward introduced:

“Cambone!” was a familiar refrain when Rumsfeld wanted information or action. A 6-foot-3 defense intellectual who had worked on the space and missile defense commissions that Rumsfeld had headed, Steve Cambone was the dark, nonsunny, nonoptimistic side of Rumsfeld who had forebodings about something bad happening. He was civilian special assistant to the secretary, and he largely defined the relationships between Rumsfeld and the rest of the Pentagon. Cambone was the means by which, at least initially, Rumsfeld had extended his grasp around the throats of the military brass. [Somebody wrote: "All the so-called "black" programs had one element in common: the Secretary of Defense, or his deputy, had to conclude that the normal military classification restraints did not provide enough security..." Rumsfeld put his Under-Secretary for intelligence, a newly created Bush administration position [of course!,] in charge of the super-secret black "SAP" program. This individual, Stephen Cambone, testified along with Rumsfeld and Generals Lance Smith and Richard Myers before the Senate Armed Services Committee. Hersh quotes a senior CIA official that colorfully pointed out how Rumsfeld and Cambone lied during that Senate appearance."]

George Herbert Walker Bush is another "secrecy hoot" involved in helping the pale and low popularity of his ungifted and neuron-burnt son George Jr., as we can remember Herbert's involvement in the discrediting of the "Fortunate Son" book by the use of his lawyers, as well as his influence over the secretive organizations (he was the CIA head) to strongly support his son, and viceversa, even with the support of Bush's domestic spying. For example, we honor Wilton Sekzer, a former New York City cop, father of Jason Maxwell Sekzer, who died on the WTC on 911. The answer is that the wars of the XXI Century of the international Military-Industrial Complex [the pranks of the "Money Lovers" of the world (the World Bankers, the Money Changers): Part 1, Part 2] with headquarters in America, started its attack at home on 9/11 and continued with Afghanistan and Iraq. This PAX-TV collage, presented multiple times at CNN, presents another view of the second hit, here you can clearly see how the right wing of the holo-plane disappears (here the stills of another 6 videos showing the same phenomenon, confirming it to be holographic), then after the impact you can still see the full body of what seems to be a missile (even noticed by the CNN reporter, Aaron Brown, as "the nose of the plane", according to him). Then we see several holo-birds (birdets), the first in a right angle, then another near the bottom almost horizontally, then another, the bigger moving from bottom to top (you can see how it changes shape from a double birdet (bibirdet) to a single big "bird", and finally we can see another group of three different bibirdets, also reshaping as a mono-birdet. But after World War II, it was the economic support provided by the U.S. through the Marshall Plan that saved countries like Italy from becoming communist states. Bolstering the economies of Muslim countries striving for democracy would have been a better response than exporting war." Jeff Timberlake, from Cincinnati, Ohio wrote "Boot's signal example of democracy's triumph over tyranny is the collapse of the Soviet Empire. But that victory was not achieved by U.S. forces unilaterally storming the gates of the Kremlin and tearing down the statue of Lenin. Rather, the Soviet Union rotted from within, abetted by a sensible and hard-nosed policy of containment by a true multinational coalition. If democracy flourishes in Iraq or elsewhere in the Middle East, it will be in spite of the Bush doctrine, not because of it." Ryan Gielen, from New York City wrote "I would feel much more optimistic about our nation if more people questioned what happened on 9/11. If people had been a little more skeptical, maybe we would have questioned whether Iraq really had WMD, whether the war and reconstruction would pay for themselves and whether 130,000 troops were enough. Maybe we would have questioned the need to elect George W. Bush to a second term." Inge Drucks, from Breckerfeld, Germany wrote "Too many pieces of evidence about 9/11 cannot be explained within the framework of the official version. Where are the Watergate sleuths Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein when we really need them?", Michel Mortier from Zug, Switzerland wrote "When violence is countered by violence, regression is fighting regression. It is a double step backward." Bill Gottdenker, from Mountainside, N.J. wrote "...if we are sacrificing American lives in the effort to establish democracy in the Middle East (whether Iraqis want it or not), we should at least allow the citizens of Iraq to enjoy the democratic right to select their own representatives. We should not dictate that the government be favorably disposed to us, as that would violate the basic tenets of the democracy we are ostensibly seeking to export to the Middle East." Rainer Lau, from Brussels expressed the next unfortunate conclusion: "Meanwhile, anti-Americanism is unfortunately growing where the U.S. would not expect it."

"At 9:04am, Diane Sawyer of ABC News made remarks on-air about the "circling" jet she and her colleagues "all saw" prior to the second strike. She admits she "just assumed" it was the same one that struck the South Tower" (video of that clip).

"Of interest with respect to this "mystery jet" is the phenomenon, acknowledged but unexplained by the Commission, of the "phantom Flight 11". At 9:21am, after both towers had been hit, and long after "AA11" had struck the North Tower, Boston flight control, relaying information from FAA headquarters, informed NEADS that "AA11" was still in the air and heading south, perhaps to Washington, DC. Were they tracking this "third aircraft"? (video documenting the last statement). [Editor's Note: This real-life event is even presented in detail in the first part, the "corroboration" fact-based part of the Movie United 93]."

"Much research has focused on the details and effects of various military exercises apparently underway on 9/11, especially "live-fly" NORAD drills designed to mimic multiple terrorist aircraft attacks on high-profile US targets. One NORAD drill, "Vigilant Guardian", is admitted by the Commission to have been in progress but is dismissed in a footnote as being unrelated to the hijacking scenario and as posing no impediment to defensive response, despite the well documented confusion among NORAD personnel as to whether the attacks were "real world or exercise", the presence of artificial radar "injects" on their screens, and the recognition of as many as eleven simultaneous potential hijackings. Was the "third jet" an actor in such an exercise? Was it meant to confuse defensive response? Was it monitoring (or controlling) the attacks? Was it a back-up in the event of a miss on the towers? Was it one of these (Air Force C-32, a modified Boeing 757-200)?

"If it is a civil aircraft, records of its take-off and landing must exist. A FOIA request to the FAA should be filed. If it is military, it is automatically suspect. Any proper investigation of 9/11 must account for this aircraft."

We have in film, in multiple documentaries and newscasts, the moving images of ultramodern aerial devices "escorting" its WTC's Tower target, plus other aerial devices camouflaged as "birds", "bats", "smoke clouds", etc...

So, as more and more evidence indicates, those events of 911 were a secretive or covert "Black Operation." We don't want to be lied to and attacked again by secretive programs that our taxes are sponsoring without even the full knowledge of Congress. We elected Congressmen to stand for truth and to stand for the people against deranged individuals such as the PNACs plus Cambone and his superiors until the highest echelon. Hopefully our readers will remember 911 this year with a knowledge-based analysis in place of superficial TV sitcoms... 5. Audio tapes of interviews with air traffic controllers on-duty on 9/11 were intentionally destroyed by crushing the cassette by hand, cutting the tape into little pieces, and then dropping the pieces in different trash cans around the building. We demand an explanation for this destruction of evidence and ask that the possible existence of other copies of such tapes or perhaps of written transcripts of the interviews be pursued. All air traffic controllers on-duty on 9/11 should be allowed to testify during a public forum under oath.

"...investigations were initiated by the governments of Belgium, Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Monte Carlo, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United States, and others... the people identified as having been involved in the suspicious trades were seen as unlikely to have been associated with those alleged to have committed the 9/11 crimes... example of the circular logic often used by those who created the official explanations for 9/11... those who were involved in the trades did not appear to be connected to those assumed perpetrators... someone did profit through securities transactions but, based on the Commission’s assumptions of guilt, those who profited were not associated with those who were guilty of conducting the attacks. In a footnote, the Commission report acknowledged “highly suspicious trading on its face,” but said that this trading on United Airlines was traced back to “A single U.S.-based institutional investor with no conceivable ties to al Qaeda”... Belgian Finance Minister, Didier Reynders, said that there were strong suspicions that British markets were used for transactions... German central bank president, Ernst Welteke, said his bank conducted a study that strongly indicated “terrorism insider trading” associated with 9/11... The extent of the 9/11-related informed trading was unprecedented. An ABC News Consultant, Jonathan Winer, said, “it’s absolutely unprecedented to see cases of insider trading covering the entire world from Japan to the US to North America to Europe”... SEC Chairman Harvey Pitt gave testimony to the House Financial Services Committee at the time, saying, “We will do everything in our power to track those people down and bring them to justice”... Mary Bender, chief regulatory officer at the CBOE, stated "...The point is to find people who are connected to these heinous crimes”... The people ultimately found included an unnamed customer of Deutsche Bank's Alex Brown (DBAB). This involved a trade on United Airlines (UAL) stock consisting of a 2,500-contract order that was, for some reason, split into chunks of 500 contracts each and then directed to multiple exchanges around the country simultaneously. When the 9/11 Commission report pointed to a “single U.S.-based institutional investor with no conceivable ties to al Qaeda,” it was referring to either DBAB or its customer in that questionable trade...

Alex Brown, the company purchased by Deutsche Bank to become DBAB, was managed by A.B. (Buzzy) Krongard, who left the firm in 1998 to join the CIA as counsel to director George Tenet. Krongard had been a consultant to CIA director James Woolsey in the mid 1990s and, on September 11th, he was the Executive Director of the CIA, the third highest position in the agency... Reporters from The Wall street Journal wrote... “The investigators, acting on a tip from traders, are examining whether terrorists, or people affiliated with terrorist organizations, bought five-year notes, including a single $5 billion trade”... the former German Minister of Technology, Andreas von Buelow, ...said that the value of the informed trades was on the order of $15 billion... On September 21, 2001, the SEC referred two specific transactions to the FBI for criminal investigation as potential informed trades. One of those trades was a September 6, 2001 purchase of 56,000 shares of a company called Stratesec, which in the few years before 9/11 was a security contractor for several of the facilities that were compromised on 9/11... The affected 56,000 shares of Stratesec stock were purchased by a director of the company, Wirt D. Walker III, and his wife Sally Walker... The Stratesec stock that the Walkers purchased doubled in value in the one trading day between September 11th and when the stock market reopened on September 17th. The Commission memorandum suggests that the trade generated a profit of $50,000 for the Walkers. Unfortunately, the FBI did not interview either of the Walkers and they were both cleared of any wrongdoing because they were said to have “no ties to terrorism or other negative information.”... Walker hired a number of Stratesec employees away from a subsidiary of The Carlyle Group called BDM International, which ran secret (black) projects for government agencies... The quality of the FBI investigations, considering the suspects were not even interviewed, was therefore much less than “exhaustive”, as the 9/11 Commission characterized it... The Commission came to the conclusion that no such activity occurred because “the assembled agents expressed no knowledge of the reported hard-drive recovery effort” and “everything at the WTC was pulverized to near powder, making it extremely unlikely that any hard-drives survived”. The truth, however, is that many such hard-drives were recovered from the WTC and were sent to specialist companies to be cleaned and have data recovered. A German company named Convar did a good deal of the recovery work. In December 2001, Reuters reported that “Convar has recovered information from 32 computers that support assumptions of dirty doomsday dealings.” Richard Wagner, a data retrieval expert at Convar, testified that “There is a suspicion that some people had advance knowledge of the approximate time of the plane crashes in order to move out amounts exceeding $100 million. They thought that the records of their transactions could not be traced after the main frames were destroyed”... Obviously, the 911 Commission memorandum drafted in August 2003 was not particularly reliable, considering it reported that the FBI and the 911 Commission had no knowledge of any of this... they did a poor job of investigating... Today, however, we know that several peer-reviewed academic papers have reported solid evidence that informed trades did occur. That is, the conclusions reached by the official investigations have now been shown, through scientific analysis, to be quite wrong."

"In 2006, a professor of Finance from the University of Illinois named Allen Poteshman published an analysis of the airline stock option trades preceding the attacks. This study came to the conclusion that an indicator of long put volume was “unusually high which is consistent with informed investors having traded in the option market in advance of the attacks.”[34] Long puts are bets that a stock or option will fall in price."

"In January 2010, a team of financial experts from Switzerland published evidence for at least thirteen informed trades in which the investors appeared to have had foreknowledge of the attacks. This study focused again on a limited number of companies but, of those, the informed trades centered on five airline companies and four financial companies. The airline companies were American Airlines, United Airlines and Boeing. Three of the financial companies involved were located in the WTC towers and the fourth was Citigroup, which stood to lose doubly as the parent of both Travelers Insurance and the WTC 7 tenant, Salomon Smith Barney.[35]

Rumsfeld, had such artifacts from New York or the Pentagon. Those who work near ground zero today are shocked to learn such thefts went unpunished. [Apart of removing evidence,] "To take advantage of people at a time of despair, it's probably one of the worst things human beings can do to another person," said Gregory Broms, Sr., a firefighter with Engine Company 10 at the foot of the former World Trade Center site. "It was morally wrong." For years, the two couldn't speak publicly because their whistleblower case remained under seal. They worried similar fraud might have occurred during Katrina. [FBI theft from Ground Zero (the 9/11 World Trade Center crime scene)… the DOJ Office of Inspector General confirmed widespread FBI-takings from Ground Zero.]

Like Libby, Rove leaked the identity of CIA agent Valerie Plame to the press [Note: under the orders of Cheney and Bush, as Bush Told Cheney to Discredit Diplomat Critical of Iraq Policy] he deliberately misled the public by repeatedly and falsely denying his involvement in the leaking of Plame’s occupation. Rove and Libby both assured White House press secretary Scott McLellan that they had nothing to do with the leaks, though it turned out that Rove and Libby had everything to do with them. McClellan’s loss of credibility helped to drive him from the White House, while Rove remains at the president’s side. Plame, no longer at the CIA, is married to former diplomat and administration critic Joseph Wilson. Rove and Libby leaked her identity to the press in an attempt to discredit Wilson, who had challenged the White House line that Saddam Hussein was seeking African uranium. In doing so, Rove and Libby had no compunction about ruining the career of a valued expert on nuclear proliferation, the most dangerous threat to national security. Now that Rove has been cleared of criminal liability after a three-year investigation, he is free to concentrate on crafting republican strategy for the midterm congressional elections in November. If he is successful, he will have supplied fresh evidence that politics is no longer a place for people with a highly refined sense of honor or healthy regard for the truth, and that nice guys finish somewhere between second and last.

On December of 2003 with the heat of the war on Iraq, an expert investigative newscaster declared that such 9/11 footage: "may be never-before-broadcast video." It was one of Tiger Aspect’s Cameraman who was filming a factual production at the time in NY and heard the 1st plane go into the tower, turned his camera around and filmed the 2nd plane hit. That is how Tiger got the footage.

Outside of airport security screener, UQ knows of no instances of firings or reprimands issued as a result of 9/11 events. This despite the obvious failure of intelligence and air defenses, which, given the warnings received implies at the very least gross incompetence, egregious negligence if not worse. Rather than holding responsible individuals directly accountable, and insisting upon answers, we are instead rushing ahead and rewarding them with rich financial bonuses and budget increases.
This comes on the heels of Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld pre-9/11 confirmation in Congressional testimony that the Department of Defense had undocumentable 'adjustments' (ie. money unaccounted for) of $2.3 trillion. For comparison, the total federal outlay in the 2002 budget comes to just over $2 trillion. This staggering figure demands that we seek full disclosure of what's happened to taxpayer funds. Why are we throwing good money after bad without holding any one accountable for the worst breach of national security in history?

Re "Save the Endangered whistle-Blower" (NYT editorial, Aug. 19): Strengthening protection for whistle-blowers who report fraud, waste and abuse should be a priority for Congress. Having working with inspectors general for the Department of Defense, Army, Air Force, and Defense Finance and Accounting Service, I have seen Employees who blow the whistle have the evidence they submitted turned against them by the inspectors and federal employees. Inspectors general also use the legitimate reports and evidence submitted by whistle-blowers to generate reports that protect higher-ranking officers, civilian managers and agencies against some complaints of fraud, waste and abuse. These employees who seek to do the right thing are then labeled "disgruntled," have their claims dismissed, are put out of the way or become the objects of spin campaigns. When the inspectors general share evidence with an agency, they often share personal identification information of the whistle-blower as well. Protecting whistle-blowers should be a priority to encourage wise use of tax dollars, to ensure that federal laws are obeyed and rights observed, and to encourage transparency in government. TMH Exclusive: The Fire Department of New York's radio dispatches from the morning and early afternoon of 9/11. For over three years, they fought in court to keep these recordings secret but were finally forced to release them in August 2005. It took a bitterly fought lawsuit brought by the New York Times to get the Fire Department of New York to release some of its dispatch tapes from 9/11. The NYT requested the tapes in early 2002, got denied, and went to court. When the FDNY lost the fight three and a half years later, on 12 August 2005 it made available 23 CDs, almost all containing audio of radio dispatches, plus transcripts of oral histories and some other text. The contents of all 21 audio CDs are available online for free. Disc 23 contains PDF files of 503 oral histories. The New York Times has posted all of them here. Disc 21 contains a Port Authority Radio Repeater Transcript (pdf transcript of the audio file on disc 22) and an EMS CAD Logbook.

Zest magazine from August 6 2006 presents the cover story of the new movie World Trade Center, directed by Oliver Stone and with actors Nicolas Cage (representing Josh McLoughlin), Michael Peña (representing William Jimeno, click here to see another clip of Will Jimeno), Maria Bello (Donna McLoughlin, Josh's wife), Maggie Gyllenhaal (Allison Jimeno, Will's wife). Zest declares that the movie had "a large (thought undisclosed budget", p. 11) and that "the studio reportedly met with members of Congress and White House staff members to assure them that their tale of heroism pushes no political agenda" (p. 12). However, the 911 event was a completely political event. The extreme use of 911 by Bush and collaborators to support things like the middle east wars (Iraq, Afghanistan) and the implementing of the antipatriotic act called ironically "Patriot Act" one and two ("trading freedom for security"), together with "Homeland Security" plus an increasing vigilance and distrust everywhere...

Now the government is not only promoting the myth by promoting the release of mythical movies and DVDs, but even want to put the distortions of the 9/11 Commission in cartoon form to reach the masses with their disinformation (graphic adaptation by Sid Jacobson and Ernie Colón.) Now that Bush and collaborators are pushing an emotional "propaganda" movie, it is vital for the Truth to preserve every bit of original footage to upload and download from the Internet (like original Newscasts and Documentary DVDs).

[So, not even the biography of George H. W. Bush done by his own daughter was a spontaneous idea of her, but of G. H. W. himself and her "tour". Talk about manipulation and deceit near the Nov. 2006 elections. She and her husband Koch are sold to the party, lobbying and grabbing money for their "$ - NWO - $" selfish cause. You already know the BIG corruption of such lobbyists and the kind of political "charities" they subscribed to] So, shame on the Bush corrupted family one more time!
